All Physiotherapists at St George Physiotherapy and Sports Injury
Clinic are actively involved in ongoing education, attending seminars
and conducting workshops to pass on knowledge. There are three therapists that work in the clinic.

We are the official therapists for:
• St George-Illawarra Dragons Rugby League
• Australian Institute of Sport Rugby League Squad
• Sutherland Shire Netball Association

Our Physiotherapists also have a close
working relationship with:

• NSW Academy of Gymnastics
• Southern Districts Rugby Union
• NSW Touch Football Association
• Osteoporosis Support Group Australia

Chris is an officially accredited NSWIS Physiotherapist provider and a Physiotherapy provider for the AIS. He has toured with the Australian Olympic Snowboard Team as the team physio. He has a special interest in football, snow sports and surfing injuries, and extensive experience with sports injuries in children.

Chris has been a practicing physiotherapist since 1995. He established St George Physiotherapy & Sports Injury Clinic in 2001 after working in the NSW ski fields in the late 1990’s.

Liz is also a Practice Principle and partner of St George Physiotherapy and Sports Injury Clinic. Liz has worked with sporting teams such as St George-Illawarra Dragons Rugby League, Southern Districts Rugby Union and the AIS Rugby League Development Squad. She is currently the appointed physiotherapist for the St George Dragons Harold Matthews and SG Ball rugby league teams. Liz has also worked at tournaments such as Ellerston Polo and NSW State Cup Touch Football.

Liz has an interest in all aspects of sports-related rehabilitation for all ages and abilities as well as general treatment and rehabilitation of ankles, knees, backs, shoulders and necks.

 

Sarah started in our clinic in 2006 and has recently attained a Polestar Pilates Rehabilitation Certificate. Sarah is a physiotherapist who specialises in Pilates. She works in our studio with both injured or rehabilitation patients as well as fitness clients looking to enhance their sports performance.

Sarah is the head physiotherapist for the Sutherland Shire Netball Association (SSNA), and has been working with sports injuries since her undergraduate years. Previously a state road cycling champion, Sarah is now pursuing long distance running. This has led to her interest in lower limb biomechanics and overuse injuries.

   
Joel is the newest member of our team and started at our clinic in 2009. His qualifications include a Masters in Physiotherapy as well as a Bachelor of Medical Science. He comes to us from the Illawarra region and has a background working with rehabilitation patients.

Joel has a particular interest in all sports related injuries and rehabilitation. He has worked as physiotherapist for the University of New South Wales Rugby Union and AFL teams, Gladesville United Soccer as well as covering various sporting events such as the Sydney half marathon.
